Baby Shower number 1

My good friend ask me to help her with a baby shower for her friend last year.  So I said yes, I mean who could turn that down specially with Pinterest ideas these days.  I know you know what I mean. All the inspirations and ideas from that site is endless.  And I do want to thank those people.

Anyways, I didn't really have much time to really think about it.  So my go to place for parties is Party City.  Yeh I know, it can get expensive, but its there.  There are a lot of themes there and variety of stuff.  So for the baby shower, she had requested the blue and green color.  And I worked with that.

I had made her a simple diaper cake for the main decoration table where guest could put the gifts on.  Anyways, I had seen a really cute piggy bank around Target and Michaels one day that made me want to use it on the diaper cake as a topper.  I made my husband spray paint it baby blue.  While I was working on the cake, something just didn't seem right, so I made a little tag that will let guess put in extra change in the piggy bank for the baby.  I thought that was a neat idea.

For the rest of the decorations, I just found at Party City and just put it together around the table.
